Hi, everybody. I just try to understand what are you talking about. In the beginning it was by the topic and at the end something different. The topic is Open Heart Prayer/Meditation. And I would like to add something about it.
Kabbalists said: "What is the work of the heart? - Prayer."
You have been created in such a way you do not know what your own true intentions are. Desires come from your heart, but you have no power over them.
Prayer is not what the lips utter, but the desires within your heart. The Creator reads the desires within your heart.
The ZOHAR, the TORAH and all other books of Kabbalah speak of those who attained the spiritual worlds with their desires and properties while living in our world.
The Kabbalah is method of prayer requires introspection, that you look inside your heart and truly ask yourself: who am I? The prayer in Kabbalah means judge yourself!
You don't learn this in prayer books. But if you work at this, you will reach the level of desires and requests of the authors of the ZOHAR and the TORAH.

The object of life.

You are on this planet, in this existence to experience what you are not

So every time you question life base your background thoughts on this, you will quickly realise this world is a lot of nothing and yet full of something that is not you. This world is full of objects that are labeled this or that, you already define yourself as having a body a mind independence free will etc.... these are just labels telling you that this is something, the mind is a tool and can only grasp things in a logical way and will readily dismiss anything that contradicts. So when you say to your mind that your body is not 'I' it is being contradicted and will profusely resit your attempts to understand the essence of 'I' and 'why'

To quote Mark Twain. "Man is the only animal that blushes or has a need to".

Back to Adam and Eve. I believe the story is about, IMO, the awareness of consciousness that they were more than animals, that they were humans and
had sensitivity to environment, and understood consequences of life.
As for God walking through the garden... (problem there) Have you ever seen God walking anywhere???? that was where the writers of that volume lost me.
And if God did do that (not human, not likely!) why would they be ashamed?? God was inside them, not strolling through a garden. So the story is a fairy tale to illustrate points the writers wanted those who heard to understand.
You are human. You are a pair who will have children. There will be pain, you
will work for your needs, (there is no free ticket to ride this earth train!) and
you will feel hot and cold, and hunger. That is the message.

So after breathing, cooking and the rest. You need to answer the questions: Where do I come from? What am I doing here? Were am I going? Thats the purpose of human life. Animals are happy with breathing and cooking (+ many humans too).

sorry accidentally hit enter before finishing. kinda new to this posting things stuff.

anyway to continue i feel that as separated oneness we are able to interact and experience with other parts of ourselves. i feel all of the things we see are simply oneness separated and as that they to experience and learn. we as human beings, Mammals, are able to experience and learn in our time here more than some life forms but other life forms experience and learn and grow too. in this great myriad of things we can choose to be we essentially experience ourselves as what we are ...... ALL

going to stop now but i think you get the gist of what i believe as the "object" of life

hmmm, object of life.

great website by the way. joined this morning and hope to learn from all of you beautiful people.

i believe that their is no true object of life in the sense that life is a school or a place to learn or even that it is a journey were if you look hard enough you will find the answers an immediately be ascended into the great divine place. there is a great saying i read once "before enlightenment chop wood and carry water, after enlightenment chop wood and carry water" i do believe that life has a purpose and that is experience. the one thing we can not stop doing. experiencing. no matter what you do in life or what you choose to believe as the OBJECT of this great illusion you have to experience. sure some will say that in deep meditation all is one and you are simply being, but even then you are experiencing oneness. now sure through experience in life you grow which would lead one to believe their is a object or thing to achieve in this growth but how can you achieve or find what you are already. we are divine and yes we are all oneness. the object of this place is to experience ourselves as whatever we choose. when we experience we learn and grow. we simply grow into another experience. i believe in the beginning the oneness was all of these things we are now, but being only oneness how could it truly know itself as these things. in order to know itself the oneness first separated itself into two and the second further separated itself. after eons of separation and further separation we, the separated oneness, forgot who we were(ONENESS). now i am not pretending that i came up with this idea. it is echoed in one form or another in all great books.
