I will be inactive on the forum again after this but I just wanted to share this.

Someone said to me recently that Lucifer was the light bearer and that new age light worker business is an ego fueled state of the "apparent dark lord". I do not know but it is an interesting concept never the less.

Should you consider that the Sun is neither touched by night nor day then......

    Then What?

    Clarity?

    Awareness?

    ( )?

Still I Am wether trying to make sense or not. lol

    Jah Bless.

    Hello, ABS!

Alswys good to see you post.

"Lucifer" is a Latin word that means "Bearer of Light. It seems to me that the term "Lucifer" has several translations from the The Latin Vulgate (the first translation of the books in the bible to Latin) into the English versions. This word is also used for "the light of the morning" (Job 11:17), "the signs of the zodiac" (Job 38:32), and "the aurora" (Psalm 109:3). Metaphorically, the word is applied to the King of Babylon (Isaiah 14:12) as preeminent among the princes of his time; to the high priest Simon son of Onias (Ecclesiasticus 50:6), for his surpassing virtue, to the glory of heaven (Apocalypse 2:28), by reason of its excellency; finally to Jesus Christ himself (2 Peter 1:19; Apocalypse 22:16; the "Exultet" of Holy Saturday) the true light of our spiritual life.

St. Jerome, in his translation to Latin of the Book of Isiah, makes Lucifer the name of the principal fallen angel who must lament the loss of his original glory bright as the morning star. In Christian tradition this meaning of Lucifer has prevailed; according to certain sources, Catholic theologians maintain that Lucifer is not the proper name of the devil, but denotes only the state from which he has fallen.

good post yas...you too abby...you always invoke challenged thought...here is another quote...

2 Corinthians 11:14 (King James Version)

14And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

in some gnostic literature, lucifer and/or satan, is depicted as the lower, psychological self of higher awareness of Jesus Christ...

the 'dark lord' and the 'lord of light', are two aspects of one awareness, split only by the illusion of this reality...when the two become one, without any distinction of either...primordial awareness is realized...

another gnostic idea, is that the totalities remain within the Pleroma, and are never touched by illusion...it's kinda like, while we are playing around down here on earth, our awareness is intact, as it has always been and always will be, awaiting us to realize and awaken to the truth of our primordial awareness...lol

yas, yes, the 'state' from which he fell, is considered to be that first thought that was illusional, and outside the totality of the Pleroma...

    that last line is confusing...

the 'state' from which he fell, the falling considered to be that first thought that was illusional/psychological, and outside the totality of the Pleroma, which is considered to be the 'state' of primordial awareness...so the first thought, and everything that followed, is illusional...and yet, here we are! but, there was never any place outside of anything, never any fall, and never any journey back to a place that is nonexistent...lol

since that first thought was illusional, it is not actually a place 'outside' of the totality of the Pleroma; that is where the 'idea' of the dream is in play, and yet, even the idea of a dream, is not real...lol

    i love the gnostic literature...

what also becomes apparent, at least to me, is this primordial state, or totality of the Pleroma, as it is referred to in gnostic literature...just how real is this state of awareness, conditioned or not? LOL
