Slightly different tangent but when I was laughing about this on lunch deodata's star wars take was playing at the shopping centre. As the jestful thought that I am glad it is not the empires march arose I almost wet myself. LOL

Perhaps my original post wasn't clear enough. Each of us has a soul...it is a source
of our beingness. My query was asking you to define the part of you, (of the Source)
that you are using. I am not asking you for the universe...just that portion which
you are using....define what it is...
And yes...your soul can be defined...size, shape, content, capability, function, etc.
And if you can define yourself....then you know who, what, where, when (to a

starion...i do know...but i identify it with the same Being within all...everyone is made up of it...and yet are it in an infinite way...an intimate part of the whole, Being the whole itself...
i just don't see it as an individual thing...iow, it is not owned by a me or you, or a dog or cat, or a rainbow or rock...it just appears as such...but i can't even say that this appearance is not...while i am Being human today...tomorrow i might be Being the air...
form is everchanging...giving Being its ability to be...all form is Being...relinquished from a self that knows or owns...i am the whole of Being...the soul of Being...and so is everything that ever was or ever will be...
there is no time nor will there ever be a time when Being did not, or will not exist...
its very existence is inferred and enacted in its nonexistence...iow...the very fact that it cannot exist, is the very reason it does exist...

While I am perfectly in agreement that it is the connection with the entire being,
I am also asking about the greater part of you to which your body is attached. You
do understand that you, your soul emanates light, ....that your soul emanates its
own sound, its own beingness to such an extent that you are recognized as an individual
amongst millions of trillions of beings sans body. Your being, the personality projected through this soul portion, is highly individual.... Out of your
body, you mentally communicate one with another and you hear as though through osmosis.
Your soul is of highly evolved electro-magnetic origin.... your vision is 350* all
the way around...and you are 100 times or more aware than you are in flesh... This
soul of electro-magnetic moves by thought...think of being a thousand miles away and
whoosh, you are there. You fly like superman, are invincible and can dwell in any
environment. You do not need the body in order to exist as an individual either.
Not only that, but you are aware of the beginning/endings/middles of things you are

starion, i am not saying that what you have depicted is not 'maybe' within the realm of possibilities...however, to my knowledge and recollection, it has not been experienced by me...
have you experienced such? if you have, can you do it at will? and then come back into human being? can you explain how you have done this? if you have not actually had this experience, how do you know that it is true? if you have had the experience, how is it different than having any experience? even the one of being human? and i say this last thing with all respect...if we humans can do this, then what prevents pigs from actually flying? or devils/satan/hell and judgment of revelation and the apocolyspe from being really real?
what makes my or your or anyones logic...the defining line of what is real or not? should we pay any attention to logic at all? if all of this is just a clever illusion...is not the awareness revealing this...not also an illusion? and if not why not?

It is called out of the body experiences, which were also described by many others,
including Robt. Monroe. When you leave your body, the part you know of as you, is the
part that leaves...the mind, the thinking, the essential you. You are an electro-magnetic being emanating light...with unlimited capabilities.
Can it be done on command? With practice just like any other skill. You are complete
without the body...altho during a lifetime, the two of you are attached. You are you
without the body...a greater you and this experience is so fantastic, if you are aware
of it, that you recognize the mind=body-God connection immediately.
Most people dream they are flying...or dream they are doing spectacular things.. unaware that their souls have slipped out for a visit with the universe.
How did I enhance it? Yogic breathing deep and about an hour a day, then when the
rocking began, allowing myself to slip out. You have to practice being aware of what
you are doing...eyes open, the inner eyes...but once you are out of the body, then
you can see what reality really is. Cats glow, but seem very small lifeforms, you can
think of a friend and be there with that person instantly. Without the body, there is
no day or night, just a glow that seems to come from the atoms themselves. You always
can see 360* around you. Once you have experienced that, then you know "death" is but
a change but you continue. Also know this, you slip out of that body at least once a
week and are out there having a dream anyway. Most people keep their eyes closed and
believe they are dreaming, so they are moving around like zombies....unaware of where

how is this experience any more real than say taking a walk on the beach while the sun is setting?
respectfully, it appears to be a way to escape living a human life through dreams and visions...
i know many people who have lucid dreams and visions...but can they fly over to Africa and help rebuild the villiages there during such dreams and visions? how is it helpful in the here and now, for one to escape the here and now through such mindplay? while it might feed the mind and ideas that there is something 'other' than the here and now...don't you always come back to the here and now? what does that tell you?

Out of the body, there are no mysteries...helpful to answer questions someone might
not otherwise know... Were you aware that Rosicrucians generally all experience this
and help others to find answers? I found a dog; who does it belong to? Is my mother
still alive? Who am I? and other innocuous questions....

can they stop the suffering of our world? if what you say is true, then why on earth have they not used this awareness to do so? escape? it sounds like, that is exactly what it is, unless it can be used to help those in the here and now...who are actually suffering in horrendous ways...with all respect starion, do they charge for their services? if this is such a wonder-filled thing, then why, i ask again, is it not being used appropriately to relive REAL suffering?
how important are those questions up against the suffering humanity is feeling?
i would suggest that they direct their awareness to solving the problems of 'this' realm...here and now...respectfully, star...
