I use to be prim and proper...
Ms. Perfect...that was me...
I thought that I was Jesus Christ...
Or that I had to be...
Always turning the other cheek...
Filled with light and love...
Trusting my heart and everything...
To that unseen God above...
Later I met da Buddha...
And sat down under his tree...
I became oh so aware...
Cut wise teeth on Wei Wu Wei...
I then read Tao of Physics...
Danced a Shiva and Physics dance...
Did a jig with Tibetan Buddhist
And experienced that Rigpa trance...
I’ve been to the top of the mountain...
I’ve been stuck in a cave on the side...
I’ve gone round and round with my ego...
Flying high in the sky for one hell-of-a ride...
I’ve laughed at my own stupidity...
I’ve wondered at the joy of being...
I’ve come to many a conclusion...
But life’s an absolute continual freeing...
Just when you think you know it all...
Awareness surprises you with something new...
Experiencing this moment, fully, as human...
Is the only logical truth...
