Are they trying to isolate us? just like the higgs boson? will that happen in 2012? psychiatry seems very evil to me.. a group of psychologists in the 60s came together to discuss how they might gain almost complete control over our mind and emotions through treatment and medications

2012 is yet to be, so you can approach it with fear, in which case you are already allowing others to influence you with doomsday theories
or you can approach 2012 and listen to what is in your heart... desire the most of what you would have happen to you and it will be so
follow your heart not others ideas and you wont go far

It does however make you wonder...
the universe is supposed to have started from a very small explosion, how will a small controlled experimental explosion in the Large Hadron Collider take effect for the search of higgs boson
they say its safe but is it?

well i was on the scientology website following a link from another psot and in the L ron hubbard video documenting his life it said he was trying to isolate the life force and that made me think of the proposed higgs boson

I hazard to guess that if you lump together any organization or collective of people you will find within the walls you have created people who are motivated by the desire to help people just as you will find people who are motivated by the desire to exploit people. You will find some in it for money and some in it for love. etc etc etc etc
Sure this can be said of psycholigists as it can also be said of scientologists. If you think scientologists to be somehow free from these constraints can you possibly demonstrate and explain how?

no, I personally don't like scientology or psychiatry.. actually i hate psychiatry, they have damaged and exploited my life by brainwashing and forcing me on meds that fucked up my life.. all for money and destruction of what is good

How do you tie the 2 together? IIRC, Scientology is the driving force behin the CCHR, Citizens Commission on Human Rights, which claims it is a watchdog organisation against the abuses in psychiatry.

I was put on meds in my twenties and they were horrible. My father however is a walking pill bottle that you can actually hear before you can see him.
Knowed how f***ed up he was from going to war and how he is now I would say that psychiatry has helped him somewhat overcome some of his demons.

I think it's interesting. I believe I recall that in the late 1940's, L. Ron Hubbard had decided that the bad reputation Dianetics was receiving sprang from the American Communist Party and the psychiatric profession.
